Meeting Richard Dreyfuss
I had a chance to meet yesterday with Richard Dreyfuss. As noted in a previous post here, this accomplished actor is now turning much of his energy and talent to civic education.
When some celebrities adopt a cause, they seem to just have a cursory understanding of the issue and are focused on the photo op. But after spending the better part of the afternoon listening to Richard's ideas about a compelling new civics curriculum, I can tell you that his commitment to this is for real! More Fourth and Fifth Graders Making a Difference
